Gym sign designs
Before you get onto signage, you’ve probably already paid attention to the design of your gym as a whole – if not, this may help. So next up the exiting bit – you gym signage.
We find that the type of design that a client wants can generally fall into one of only a couple of categories:
Motivational gym signage
The internet’s awash with motivational phrases, so instead of choosing an off-the-shelf design, have a think about a phrase that’s personal so you or your family, or challenge us to come up with one for you!
Branded gym signage
If you’re a larger operator then you may be launching your gym in conjunction with a supplier such as Gymshark or Life Fitness. They may want to activate their involvement using illuminated logo signs – and they happen to look super sharp too.
Architectural gym signs
As opposed to text, we can produce any words and shapes as a custom sign. It could be wall or ceiling lighting, or perhaps wayfinding signage to illuminate different areas such as toilets, changing rooms or coffee shops.
Types of gym signage
Real Neon
Starting with straight lengths of glass, we bend the glass to the shape of your design and then fill it with Neon or Argon. The neon can go directly onto your gym wall, or be pre-mounted onto acrylic.
LED Flex
This is the cheapest option. Using lengths of coloured LED flex, we fix the flex to acrylic to bring your design to life.
Neon Ultra®
This product intends to mimic real neon, using internally illuminated acrylic. As such, it holds its shape and can be mounted directly to your wall or pre-mounted to a substrate.
Fairground Lights
Originally used by showmen on their rides, but now often used in gym signage, especially in built up bulb letters, fairground lights give a huge amount of wow-factor and look awesome.
Edgelit Signs
Another great value option, edgelits are particularly beneficial when bringing complex designs to life in light.
