Carousel Lights were asked to produce various different illuminated logo signs for Tiffany & Co’s locations in London, including permanent and pop-up outlets in Knightsbridge’s famous Harrods store.
The signs ranged in size slightly, but all were between 1600-1700mm wide. The client stated that all of thew logo lights needed to be low-energy and it was important that environmental impact was considered in the production method of the signs.
It was therefore decided that our Neon Ultra® – our famous LED product – was best suited to this particular project.
Neon Ultra® is an umbrella product which consists, in essence, of internally-illuminated solid opal acrylic. This can be finished in a range of different styles.
Tiffany & Co chose two different styles for their logo signs:
For the install, some sets of letters were supplied seperately along with wiring kits and templates, whilst others were pre-mounted onto clear contour-cut panels. The formers allows for a cleaner look but the install is more complicated and it’s more difficult to move the lights once installed. Pre-mounted logo-signs are a great option if you want an easy install and/or if you think you may want to move the signs at a later date, for example on festival catering truck signage or for branding at events.
