All of our custom neon signs are designed and produced here in the U.K., meaning we can turn them around very quickly and your neon sign will be produced to the most exacting standards. All of our LED neon signs – given the brand name NeonUltra® – are extremely robust and being illuminated from within using high-efficiency LEDs, they’re also extremely enviro-friendly. What’s more, the acrylic is recyclable, meaning we’re leading the way in how we produce our neon signs in a responsible manner.
How do I commission my own Neon Sign?
Tell us what neon sign you want
Initially, we need to understand what you’re wanting to achieve. Perhaps you’re looking for led neon signs for your visual merchandising plans, or you may be wanting to add custom neon signs to your event and exhibition production schedule. It doesn’t matter if you’ve got final spec or just an initial idea.
We’ll design your custom neon sign
At this stage we’ll work on the overall design of your neon sign. We’ll be thinking through what you’re trying to achieve as well as whatever design thought’s you’ve shared with us, including the overall shape and colour for your custom neon sign.
We’ll discuss neon options
Once we’ve agreed the overall design of your led neon signs then we’ll get into some of the finer details to make sure it’s exactly how you want it. Points we’ll consider are how your neon sign will be mounted (eg fixed to the wall or suspended) as well as where wiring will be located and where you’ll choose to hide any accessories such as dimmers and transformers. These detail can often be overlooked by custom neon sign supplier who aren’t in the UK, but they’re absolutely vital to ensure everything works as expected.
We’ll make your LED neon signs!
Once the specification has been agreed, we’ll send you a confirmation form which outlines what exactly we’ll be producing. When approved, we’ll schedule your neon sign in for production. The leadtime will depend on what exactly is going through the workshop at the time of confirmation, but with everything being produced here in the UK, lead times for our led neon signs are typically only 10 working days.
Delivery day
We’ll arrange a suitable time for delivery and the delivery method will depend on the size of your custom neon signs. Sometimes we use couriers but we also use pallet services for many of our larger signs.
Neon sign installation
The final piece of the puzzle is your neon sign installation. We don;’t install neon signs ourselves but we work with several specialists who we can put you in contact with. That said, Neon Ultra® isn’t obviously real neon, and can be installed by most competent electricians.

What can led neon signs be used for?
Neon led signs are perfectly suited to commercial use where there’s a risk of customer coming into contact with the fake neon or the faux neon is being frequently moved.
What is your Neon Ultra neon sign made from?
Neon Ultra is produced from acrylic and LEDs.
Can I use a DMX controller with your custom neon signs?
Yes! We can either supply the Neon Ultra with a DMX decoder so that you run it from your own lighting desk or we can supply the led neon with a pre-programmed DMX controller too – you just need to let us know how you want it animating!
Do I need a fireman’s switch for led Neon?
No! It just needs a standard 240V power supply and the led neon signs are supplied with a low voltage transformer so a fireman’s switch isn’t needed.
Are led Neon signs dimmable?
Yes. The fake neon light source is LEDs and we can supply a dimmer.
Does Neon Ultra contain glass?
No. Acrylic replaces the glass of traditional neon.
