How did we do the custom neon theatre signage for Marie & Rosetta?

The brilliant production team behind Marie & Rosetta approached Carousel Lights and asked for our helping in producing the custom on-stage hero signage “MARIE & ROSETTA” for this incredible production featuring Beverley Knight and Ntombizodwa Ndluvo, accompanied by four musicians.

Having previously worked with some of the production team for custom signage at Donmar Warehouse, it was great to team up again on what is described by What’s On Stage as

A powerful, music-filled tribute. With stirring vocals, sharp dialogue, and a moving exploration of faith, fame, and friendship, the production is both intimate and electrifying.

The Rose Theatre is the perfect venue for this production and it was great to be back there to watch the show.

What exact lighting solution was best?

After exploring a couple of different options, our Neon Ultra® product was best-suited to the Marie & Rosetta illuminated set design signage. This product is often a preferred solution for theatre signage solutions – and it’s what we provided for Clyde’s Diner at Donmar Warehouse too – as it’s fully customisable, controllable and robust.

Face, partial-edge and halo illumination.

Lettering pre-mounted to 3 clear panels, each measuring;
